South Moravia Tour – Trip #01

Below are some tips on where to travel in South Moravia each day


Day 1: Arrival in city of Brno. Visiting the Vegetable Market (Zelny Trh) and its undeground labyrinth, Old Town Hall (Stara radnice),  and Freedom Square (Namesti Svobody).


Day 2:  City of Brno – visit Spilberk Castle and its casemates, Moravian Square (Moravske Namesti), Villa Tugendhat and the ossuary of St. Jakub.


Day 3:  Town of Slavkov u Brna – visit to the baroque castle and the Church of the Resurrection.  Town of Bucovice – visit to the Bucovice Castle, Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Town Hall and the Jewish cemetery.


Day 4:  Moravian Karst – visit village of Skalni Mlyn, Punkevni Caves, Macocha Abyss, Katerinska Cave and the Suchy Zleb.


Day 5:  Lednice-Valtice area – visit town of Valtice, Valtice castle, Diana’s Temple,  St. Hubert Chapel, Temple of the Three Graces, Castle of the Temple of Apollo, Januv castle, Hunter’s Castle, Lednice Castle, Minaret, Rybnicni Chateau and the Border House.


Day 6:  Town of Mikulov – visit to the Mikulov Castle, Way of the Cross on Holy Hill (Svaty Kopecek), Dietrichstein Tomb, Kozi Castle and the Turold Cave.


Day 7:  Pavlov, visit to the Archeopark.
