The Brezolupy Folk Costumes

Brezolupy is a small village, located in the East Moravia, classed into the Dolnacko area. The Botik Dance Ensemble in the village of Brezolupy maintains the traditional teaching of folk songs and dances, mostly from the Brezolupy area.

Members of Botik are a part of the local costume rental, and are setting up their long-term project Preservation of Folk Traditions in their village and its surroundings.

You will see the dressing of a traditional decorated women’s and men’s folk costumes, developed from the Bilov type folk costume. These forms have been preserved since probably the first half of the 20th century.
