The “Festival Rock for People” is one of the most popular Music Festivals in the Czech Republic. The annual festival which began in 1995 is held in early July. Again this year it is located in an airport in Hradec Kralove. This city and region are located in the north-eastern part of Bohemia about 100 kilometers from Prague. Hradec Kralove and Prague have good bus and train connections. Of course, the festival has an adequate parking area for visitors.

“Rock for People” features various genres. Besides rock music, you can enjoy drum and bass music, dubstep, pop music, EDM, punk, metal, ska, indie or alternative style music.

World Main stars of the year 2017 were: Die Antwoord, Paramore, Evanescence, Mastodon, Foster The People, Three Days Grace, Cage The Elephant, Dub FX, You Me At Six, Mose Blood and other hundreds of artists. Naturally, music lovers have a chance to hear famous Czech musicians such as Vypsana Fixa, Skywalker, Cocotte Minute, Lenny, Debbi or ska music by Sto Zvirat.

After the music shows every night you can enjoy the vibe of an after-party. People have a lot of opportunities
to dance at Runway party, Urban Wave stage with DJs or Live Jukebox. Have you ever been to a Silent Party? It is a very special experience!

In the festival area you can find a camping zone, beverages and food (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free), workshops, a chillout area and other entertainment, for example, competitions, sports exhibitions, discussion, message wall, graffiti wall, sightseeing flights in a hot-air balloon, busking, zip line and more. This festival isn’t just for teenagers. Actually, it is suitable for everybody from children to active seniors
