This is a local Czech recipe from the Pardubice Region.
When you visit East Bohemia, you can enjoy folk traditions, including ancient crafts, discover a number of castles and chateaus, old military fortresses and fortifications, historical town reserves and other sights of Renaissance, Baroque, Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture.
6 slices toast bread
8 cups of all-purpose flour
salt to taste
Cut the bread into small cubes and fry them in butter until golden brown. Mix by hand the flour, fried bread cubes, eggs and a pinch of salt and shape the dough into round dumplings. Cook them in steam for about 25 to 30 minutes. Pour warm milk over finished dumplings and serve.
